some common problems in using blind rivet

Blind rivets appeared in China since late 1980s and now has turned into different standards,due to the cheap price and convenience,it plays an important role in improving efficiency,ensuring the quality in production and becoming more and more popular in decoration area.

But some problems would occur in using process,we list some common problems and analyse the reason for it.

1.The mandrel was totally pulled out but the break point don`t break down.

Reason:Tensile strength of mandrel is too big; Diameter of mandrel head is too small; Material of body is too soft; Inside of body is over lubricated.

2.Sometimes,the broken down mandrel will be out of the body,will will become glitch.

Reason:Diameter of mandrel head is too small; Material of body is too soft; Hole diameter is too big; The riveting tool is not appropriate; Distance between break point and mandrel head is too big.

3.Cracks on bodies after riveting.

Reason:The harness is too high after annealing or the bodies didn`t been annealed; Diameter of mandrel head is too big; The material quality of body is not qualified.

4.The body is not tight in the hole after riveting.

Reason:Tensile strength of mandrel is too low; Hole size is too big;The harness of body is too high;Material is inappropriate.
